Modular relief map collection suitable as an event finisher edition

Use the course as the centre of the product.

Participants know the route better than any generic race graphic. They remember the climb, exposed section, aid station, technical descent and last kilometres into the finish. A physical relief edition can preserve those exact elements while carrying the visual identity of the event.

The concept can become a premium finisher gift, podium award, VIP package, team set, volunteer thank-you or numbered anniversary series. One sample can be reviewed before any batch, which keeps the first decision small and practical.

One map system, several event needs.

A common terrain and route design creates consistency across awards, gifts and merchandise without forcing every object to be identical.

Concept proposal

We recommend a map format, size, route treatment, personalisation system and practical production approach.

Physical sample

One piece is produced so terrain, colours, text, branding, packaging and display can be reviewed together.

Final data lock

Quantities, names, categories, sponsor marks and delivery schedule are confirmed before the series begins.

Production and delivery

The edition is produced in planned batches, checked and prepared for delivery to the organiser.

How club and race pricing works

There are two cost types. The first is route preparation and the event-specific visual system. The second is repeat production. Keeping them separate makes it clear what changes with quantity and what can be reused for the next edition.

A map with one fixed design and one small variable name area is efficient to repeat. A series with several terrain models, many sponsor marks and unique athlete data requires more preparation and checking. The quote explains these differences instead of hiding them inside one unit price.

No large minimum order is required to begin

A club can begin with one anniversary piece or a small member series. An organiser can test one podium award or VIP sample before deciding whether a finisher edition should follow. This is especially useful for a new product where demand is not known yet.

For participant sales, a pre-order window can confirm the quantity before final production. That keeps stock risk low and allows names or race times to be collected in a controlled format.

What determines the timeline

  • Availability and quality of the official GPX route.
  • Number of unique terrain or stage designs.
  • Time needed for one physical sample and feedback.
  • Quantity and level of variable personalisation.
  • Date when final names, places and sponsor assets are locked.
  • Packaging and delivery requirements.

Events and sports

The service is suitable for MTB, road cycling, gravel, trail running, ultra distance, triathlon, hiking, mountaineering, moto touring and other route-based events. Named examples such as Swiss Epic, Salzkammergut Trophy, Alpentour Trophy, Ironman-distance racing or UTMB-style trail events describe the kinds of routes people may want to preserve.

Independent service

Finisher Maps is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by IRONMAN, Epic Series, UTMB, Challenge Family, Swiss Epic, Salzkammergut Trophy, Alpentour Trophy or other organisers named as examples. A commissioned organiser partnership would be stated clearly and separately.

Route, quantity, deadline.
